Our PhD student, Ana Barbosa, had the amazing opportunity to visit Prof. Dianne Newman’s lab at Caltech! 🔬

During her visit, Ana shared her research in the development of a Spatial Transcriptomic method for studying 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘱𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘮𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘢 biofilms ecology, engaging in a fruitful discussion that led to valuable feedback and improvements.
Ana also had the chance of meeting with Prof. Niles Pierce and Dr. Nate Glasser, two experts in spatial transcriptomics, who kindly pointed out new ideas for her work.
