Concept
Understanding the mechanisms of biofilm development can lead to improved control strategies and new treatments for biofilm-related infections and industrial issues.
Aims
To set-up a group of excellence on engineered Biofilms at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, building upon the expertise of the ERA Chair Holder Darla Goeres (Center for Biofilm Engineering of Montana State University).
