e.biofilm — Group of Excellence on Engineered Biofilms

🎉 Congratulations to our PhD student Vânia Pinheiro on successfully defending her thesis proposal!

As part of the e.Biofilm project, Vânia’s research on “Applying a transcriptomic approach to understand the functionality of an in vitro multispecies biofilm using a chronic wound model” is a significant step in the study of chronic wound healing. This milestone brings her one step closer to her goals and to contributing with valuable insights to the field.

We are excited to see the progress of her research! 🚀🔬
